P1575
CRUISE CONTROL: DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM: P1575: Warning Buzzer Malfunction
P1575 - Warning Buzzer Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU receives an alarm demand signal from the distance control ECU and operates the skid control buzzer. The buzzer sounds to warn that the distance between the vehicle in front and your own vehicle is decreasing.
HINT
If the vehicle ahead in the same lane significantly decreases its speed or another vehicle moves in front of your vehicle, adequate deceleration cannot be applied and the vehicle-to-vehicle distance will shorten. At this time, the system sounds the buzzer and the master warning light blinks to inform the driver. This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, if there are any malfunctions in the communication circuit, one or more CAN communication system DTCs are stored.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
This DTC may be output by the vehicle stability control system at the same time. In that case, perform troubleshooting for the vehicle stability control system first.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Select "Bus Check" from the "System Selection Menu" screen on the Techstream.
(b) Select "Communication Malfunction DTC" from the "Bus Check" screen, and then select "Enter".
OK:
CAN communication is normal.
NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (BUZZER)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS / VSC / TRAC / Active Test.
Vehicle Stability Control System
Vehicle Stability Control System:
(e) Check that the buzzer sounds/stops when turning the skid control buzzer on/off by using the Techstream.
Result:
B -- GO TO SKID CONTROL BUZZER CIRCUIT
A -- Continue to next step.
3. REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU)
(a) Replace the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) Removal.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
4. READ OUTPUT DTC (DTC P1575)
(a) Clear the DTCs Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System.
(b) Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
HINT
If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
(1) Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.
(2) Turn the cruise control main switch on.
(c) Read the DTCs Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System.
OK:
DTC is not output.
NG -- REPLACE ECM Removal
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
