Installation
2GR-FE CHARGING: GENERATOR: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the bracket with the bolt.
Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
(b) Install the wire harness clamp stay with the bolt.
Torque : 8.4 Nm (86 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)
(c) Connect the wire harness clamp.
(d) Install the generator assembly to the cylinder block with the bolt.
Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
(e) Install the 2 bolts.
Torque : 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
(f) Connect the generator connector to the generator assembly.
(g) Install the generator wire with the nut.
Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
(h) Install the terminal cap.
(i) Connect the 2 wire harness clamps.
(j) Connect the magnetic clutch connector to the compressor and magnetic clutch.

9. CONNECT RADIATOR HOSE INLET Installation
10. CONNECT RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK HOSE Installation
11. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Installation
12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Reassembly
13. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Installation
14. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation
15. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation
16. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
17. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Installation
18. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Testing and Inspection
19. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS Testing and Inspection
20. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
21. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
22. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH
23. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH
24. INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH
25. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
26. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation
27. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation
28. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation
29. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL RH Installation
30. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization procedure Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTICE:
Some vehicle systems require initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
