Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System





CRUISE CONTROL: DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK DISTANCE CONTROL ECU





(a) Disconnect the K13 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the K13 ECU connector.

(d) Measure the voltage of the connector.





(d) If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

(e) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.

As vehicle speed increases, the wavelength shortens.

(f) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.

2. CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU





(a) Disconnect the A54 ECU connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.





(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

3. CHECK MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR





(a) Disconnect the B8 sensor connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the B8 sensor connector.

(d) Measure the voltage of the connector.





(d) If the result is not as specified, the sensor may have a malfunction.

(e) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.
