Multiplex Communication System





MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION: MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK NETWORK GATEWAY ECU





(a) Disconnect the K66 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

2. CHECK ENGINE ROOM NO. 1 RELAY BLOCK, JUNCTION BLOCK (FRONT CONTROLLER)





(a) Disconnect the 1X and 1Y junction block connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

3. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU LH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH)





(a) Disconnect the A30, V3, PA, PD and PL ECU connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.





* *1: W/ Adaptive Front-Lighting System

* *2: W/O Adaptive Front-Lighting System

* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

4. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH)





(a) Disconnect the DA, DD, DK and K68 ECU connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

5. CHECK NO. 1 JUNCTION BLOCK (MULTIPLEX NETWORK REAR ECU)





(a) Disconnect the LB, LC and LF junction block connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

6. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK FRONT DOOR ECU LH (FRONT DOOR ECU LH)





(a) Disconnect the M9 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

7. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK FRONT DOOR ECU RH (FRONT DOOR ECU RH)





(a) Disconnect the M4 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

8. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK REAR DOOR ECU LH (REAR DOOR ECU LH)





(a) Disconnect the O7 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

9. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK REAR DOOR ECU RH (REAR DOOR ECU RH)





(a) Disconnect the O3 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage the resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

10. CHECK POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH (for Driver Side)





(a) Disconnect the b7 and b8 ECU connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage and the resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

11. CHECK POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH (for Front Passenger Side)





(a) Disconnect the a7 and a6 ECU connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage and the resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

12. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING NO. 2 AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (A/C ECU)





(a) Disconnect the K52 amplifier connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

13. CHECK CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR





(a) Disconnect the K44 sensor connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

14. CHECK COMBINATION METER (METER ECU)





(a) Disconnect the K31 meter connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

15. CHECK SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR (SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU)





(a) Disconnect the W7 drive gear connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and the resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

16. CHECK MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU





(a) Disconnect the K27 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

17. CHECK COMBINATION SWITCH (WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH)





(a) Disconnect the K22 switch connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

18. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH





(a) Disconnect the Q13 switch connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

19. CHECK POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU





(a) Disconnect the K73 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

20. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU





(a) Disconnect the U28 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

21. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU





(a) Disconnect the K45 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

22. CHECK AFS ECU





(a) Disconnect the A29 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

23. CHECK CLEARANCE WARNING ECU





(a) Disconnect the A38 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
