B2064 - Vehicle Type Signal Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
The seat belt control ECU is connected to the main body ECU using CAN communication.
The seat belt control ECU receives vehicle model information from the main body ECU and determines whether the seat belt buckle switch information from the center airbag sensor assembly is for the driver seat or the front passenger seat.
DTC B2064 is stored when the CAN communication frame with the main body ECU is normal and communication is available, but the steering wheel position information is not set or varies.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
(a) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.
(b) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
CAN communication system DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM How to Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)
(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision / Trouble Codes.
(b) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.
(c) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
DTC B2064 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
OK -- CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS (SYMPTOM SIMULATION) How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
3. REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
(a) Replace the main body ECU Removal.

4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)
(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision / Trouble Codes.
(b) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.
(c) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
DTC B2064 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
