If a hybrid vehicle control ECU that is incompatible with the engine immobilizer system is installed, the hybrid vehicle control ECU stores this DTC.

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT

(a) Clear the DTCs Engine Immobilizer System.

(b) Recheck for DTCs Engine Immobilizer System.

OK:

DTC B279C is not output.

NG -- REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU Removal
