C1A30 - Driver Monitor ECU

DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU uses the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly, driver monitor camera and lane recognition camera sensor assembly to detect obstacles in front of the vehicle, and detect the direction that the driver's head is facing. Based on this information, the driving support ECU sends pre-collision control operation signals.

When the driving support ECU receives information that there is a malfunction in the driver monitor ECU, DTC C1A30 is stored.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, be sure to check that the CAN communication system is normal before performing inspection How to Proceed With Troubleshooting.

PROCEDURE

1. REPLACE DRIVER MONITOR ECU

(a) Replace the driver monitor ECU Removal.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision2 / Trouble Codes.

(b) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.

(c) Turn the power switch off.

(d) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(e) Drive the vehicle.

(f) Recheck for DTC.

OK:

DTC C1A30 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU Removal
