Removal





AIR CONDITIONING: REAR COOLING UNIT (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System): REMOVAL

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal

4. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
* After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

(a) Remove the rear seat assembly Removal.

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)

(a) Remove the rear seat assembly Removal.

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

9. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH Removal

11. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH Removal

12. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH Removal

13. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH RH Removal

14. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal

15. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER





(a) Detach the 5 clips and remove the No. 1 cooler cover.

16. REMOVE ROPE HOOK Removal

17. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Removal

18. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH Removal

19. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

20. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal

21. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal

22. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH Removal

23. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH Removal

24. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF SIDE AIR DUCT LH





(a) Remove the clip.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 roof side air duct LH.

25. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF SIDE AIR DUCT RH





(a) Remove the clip.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 roof side air duct RH.

26. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 AIR DUCT





(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the rear No. 4 air duct.

27. REMOVE REAR NO. 5 AIR DUCT





(a) Detach the 6 claws and remove the rear No. 5 air duct.

28. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER AIR DUCT





(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 cooler air duct.

29. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLER AIR DUCT





(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 cooler air duct.

30. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONER TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the No. 4 cooling unit packing.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.





(c) Remove the 2 O-rings from the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

31. REMOVE REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamps.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

(c) Disconnect the drain cooler hose and remove the rear cooling unit assembly.
