ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER OUTER SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
* After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP Removal

5. REMOVE DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL Removal

6. REMOVE SWITCH BEZEL Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 2 COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH Removal

9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH Removal

10. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER LH Removal

11. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER RH Removal

12. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER Removal

13. REMOVE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY Removal

14. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

15. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH Removal

16. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY OUTSIDE

17. REMOVE BACK DOOR GARNISH RETAINER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

18. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Open the screw caps and remove the 2 screws.





(b) Detach the 4 claws and remove the luggage door opening switch.
