Removal
SUSPENSION CONTROL: CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Front Side): REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Be sure to read the "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing Suspension Control System.
1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
* After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal
5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal
6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
7. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH
9. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH Removal
10. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH Removal
12. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH Removal
13. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH Removal
14. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH Removal
15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER Removal
16. REMOVE NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Disconnect the height control tube (Type 2) Suspension Control System.
(c) Using SST, disconnect the 3 height control tubes (Type 1) Suspension Control System.

(d) Remove the 2 nuts and height control valve.
