B2075 - Passenger Side Seat Belt Buckle Switch Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction is detected in the driver side buckle switch circuit or passenger side buckle switch circuit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, Initialization must be performed Pre-Collision System.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

(a) Clear the DTC Pre-Collision System.

(b) Recheck for DTCs.

OK:

DTC U0151 is not output.

NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM CAN Communication System
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM)

(a) Check DTC for supplemental restraint system Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC B1655 is not output.

NG -- GO TO SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM Airbag System
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM)

(a) Check DTC for occupant classification system Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC B1771 is not output.

NG -- GO TO OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM Occupant Classification System
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)

(a) Clear the DTC Pre-Collision System.

(b) Recheck for DTCs.

OK:

DTC B2074 or B2075 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU Removal

OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
