INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CAN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU BRANCH WIRE)

(a) Disconnect the A38 clearance warning ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CANH, CANL)
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the A38 clearance warning ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU
