B2567 - Quarter Window Switch LH Abnormal Operation

DESCRIPTION

The power window regulator motor assembly LH (window regulator limit switch) detects whether the quarter window LH is fully closed or not and sends a signal to the sliding roof control ECU assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* This DTC is also stored when something, such as the window being stuck, prevents the quarter window from moving. Therefore when the quarter window does not move from the fully closed position, check to see if the quarter window glass or power window regulator motor assembly LH is stuck How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
* Before starting troubleshooting, check that there are no mechanical problems.

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (LH QUARTER WINDOW SW)

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Retractable Hardtop / Data List.

(e) Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

Retractable Hardtop (Sliding Roof Control ECU Assembly)





OK:

The Techstream display changes according to condition as shown in the table.

NG -- CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (WINDOW REGULATOR LIMIT SWITCH)

OK -- REPLACE SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (WINDOW REGULATOR LIMIT SWITCH)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Resistance:

OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR LH - SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU)

(a) Disconnect the Q19 and Q36 connectors.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
