A760E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative(-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER Removal

5. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER Removal

6. REMOVE STEERING PAD Removal

7. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH

(a) Disconnect the clamp from the steering wheel assembly.





(b) Disconnect the switch wire connector from the steering wheel assembly.

(c) Disconnect the 2 connectors from the 2 shift paddle switches, and remove the switch wire.
