The luggage door closer motor RH/LH performs lock/unlock/neutral operation for luggage door front open.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
* Since this malfunction may be detected due to the protection circuit operation in the motor, check that the motor has cooled down sufficiently before performing DTC check again.
* These DTCs are stored when the protection circuit in the motor operates due to a mechanical malfunction during metal top system operation.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE ASSEMBLY RH (LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY RH)

(a) Disconnect the A luggage compartment door hinge assembly RH (luggage door closer assembly RH) connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE ASSEMBLY RH (LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY RH)
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE RH - SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU)

(a) Disconnect the P58 and P54 connectors.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE ASSEMBLY RH (HARNESS AND CONNECTOR)

(a) Disconnect the P58 and A connectors.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
