B251A - Open in Side Package Tray Motor LH Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The sliding roof control ECU assembly operates the roof panels, luggage door, back window panel and package trays in the specified order while the sliding roof switch assembly is operated. The side package tray trim motor LH operates the No. 2 package tray trim hinge.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
* Since this malfunction may be detected due to the protection circuit operation in the motor, check that the motor has cooled down sufficiently before performing DTC check again.
* These DTCs are stored when the protection circuit in the motor operates due to a mechanical malfunction during metal top system operation.
* Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT NO. 2 PACKAGE TRAY TRIM HINGE (SIDE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM MOTOR LH)
(a) Remove the side package tray trim motor LH from the No. 2 package tray trim hinge.
(b) Apply battery voltage and check operation of the side package tray trim motor.

NG -- REPLACE NO. 2 PACKAGE TRAY TRIM HINGE (SIDE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM MOTOR LH)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 PACKAGE TRAY TRIM HINGE - SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU)
(a) Disconnect the h8 and Q35 connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK NO. 2 PACKAGE TRAY TRIM HINGE (HARNESS AND CONNECTOR)
(a) Disconnect the h8 and A connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
