SLIDING ROOF / CONVERTIBLE: RETRACTABLE HARDTOP SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the P53, P54 and P55 sliding roof ECU assembly connectors.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.





(c) Reconnect the P53, P54 and P55 sliding roof ECU assembly connectors.

(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.









(e) Inspect using an oscilloscope.

(1) Waveform 1 (Reference)









(2) Waveform 2 (Reference)









HINT
Length of waveform (frequency) changes according to motor speed.

(f) Disconnect the Q33, Q34, Q35 and Q36 sliding roof ECU assembly connectors.





(g) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.





(h) Reconnect the Q33, Q34, Q35 and Q36 sliding roof ECU assembly connectors.

(i) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.













(j) Inspect using an oscilloscope.
