Removal





2UR-GSE COOLING: RADIATOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER

8. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

9. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID Removal

10. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

11. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR Removal

12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Disassembly

14. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER Removal

15. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Removal

16. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER Removal

17. REMOVE HOOD LOCK NUT CAP Removal

18. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Removal

19. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect 2 reserve tank hoses, then remove the 2 bolts and radiator reserve tank assembly.





20. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT

(a) Remove the engine room ECU outlet duct from the engine room ECU box.





21. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT

(a) Disconnect the smog ventilation sensor connector.





(b) Disconnect the 2 horn connectors.





(c) Separate the 5 clamps and the wire harness from the upper radiator support.





(d) Separate the 2 clamps and the wire harness from the upper radiator support.





(e) Separate the 3 clamps and the wire harness from the fan shroud.





(f) Disconnect the 2 cooling fan ECU connectors.





(g) Remove the 5 bolts and the upper radiator support.





22. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.





23. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.





24. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE

(a) Disconnect the 2 oil cooler hoses from the radiator assembly.





(b) Disconnect the 2 bolts and oil cooler pipe from the radiator assembly.

25. SEPARATE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and separate the cooler condenser assembly from the radiator assembly.





26. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the radiator assembly from the vehicle together with the cooling fan assembly.





NOTICE:
Make sure that the cooler condenser assembly and radiator assembly do not come into contact with each other.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts.





(c) Release the claw and lift the fan assembly from the radiator assembly.

27. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION

(a) Remove the 2 radiator support cushions.





28. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT

(a) Remove the 2 lower radiator supports.
