Removal

HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: REMOVAL

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (except LED Headlight)

(a) Remove the headlight assembly LH Removal.

3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (for LED Headlight)

(a) Remove the headlight assembly LH Removal.

4. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

(a) Remove the bolt and nut.





(b) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the No. 1 air cleaner inlet.

5. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Removal

6. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET

(a) Disengage each clamp.





(b) Remove the 3 bolts, clip and radiator grill bracket.





10. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

11. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

12. DISCONNECT NO. 5 INVERTER COOLING HOSE

(a) Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the No. 5 inverter cooling hose.





NOTICE:
* Do not apply excessive force to the No. 5 inverter cooling hose.
* Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

13. DISCONNECT NO. 7 INVERTER COOLING HOSE

(a) Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the No. 7 inverter cooling hose.





NOTICE:
* Do not apply excessive force to the No. 7 inverter cooling hose.
* Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

14. REMOVE NO. 5 INVERTER BRACKET Removal

15. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT LH Removal

16. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT RH Removal

17. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

18. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD Removal

19. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the cooler condenser assembly with the hybrid radiator assembly.





(b) Remove the 4 bolts and cooler condenser assembly from the hybrid radiator assembly.
