LIGHTING (INT): PERSONAL LIGHT: INSPECTION
1. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Inspect the interior light door switch and on/off switch.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly.
(b) Inspect the interior lights.
(1) Turn the personal light switches off (not pushed).
(2) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 11 (+B1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 13 (CTY).
(3) Check that the interior lights come on.
OK:
Interior lights come on.
If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or map light assembly.
(c) Inspect the personal lights.
(1) Turn the personal light switches on (pushed).
(2) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 11 (+B1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 14 (GND9).
(3) Check that the personal lights come on.
OK:
Interior lights come on.
If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or map light assembly.
(d) Inspect the center console spot light.
(1) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 11 (+B1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 24 (SHFT).
(2) Check that the center console spot light comes on.
OK:
Center console spot light comes on.
If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly.
(e) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly.
