Removal

INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: ROOF HEADLINING (for Front Side): REMOVAL

1. OPEN METALTOP ROOF

(a) Open the metaltop roof as shown in the illustration.

2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disengage the 4 clips and 12 claws, and remove the door scuff plate assembly LH.

(b) w/ Illumination Type Front Door Scuff Plate:

(1) Disconnect the connector.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH

(a) Disengage the 5 claws and guide, and remove the front door opening trim cover LH.

4. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH

(a) Pull the upper part of the garnish toward the inside of the cabin and disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips.

(b) Disengage the guide and remove the front pillar garnish LH.

5. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

7. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

8. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 clips.

(b) Disconnect the connector to remove the map light assembly.

9. REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER (for LH Side)

(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the visor bracket cover.

10. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws and remove the visor assembly LH.

11. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER (for LH Side)

(a) Turn the visor holder approximately 45° and pull it out as shown in the illustration.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the visor holder.

12. REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER (for RH Side)

13. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY RH

14. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER (for RH Side)

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

15. REMOVE FRONT ROOF PROTECTOR LH

(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 clips and remove the front roof protector LH.

16. REMOVE FRONT ROOF PROTECTOR RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

17. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR (w/ Rain Sensor) Removal

18. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER Removal

19. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect each connector.

(b) Disengage each clamp and remove the 2 clips.
