Multiplex Communication System
NETWORKING: MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU
1. CHECK GATEWAY ECU
(a) Disconnect the gateway ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU LH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH)
(a) Disconnect the main body ECU LH (cowl side junction block LH) connectors.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
3. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH)
(a) Disconnect the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) connectors.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
4. CHECK MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU
(a) Disconnect the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
5. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
6. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the power window regulator switch assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
7. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Memory)
(a) Disconnect the outer mirror control ECU assembly LH connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
8. CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (POSITION CONTROL ECU) (w/ Seat Memory)
(a) Disconnect the front power seat switch RH (position control ECU) connectors.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
9. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)
(a) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
10. CHECK FRONT CONTROLLER (ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK NO. 2)
(a) Disconnect the front controller (engine room relay block No. 2) connectors.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
11. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Memory)
(a) Disconnect the outer mirror control ECU assembly RH connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
12. CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH (POSITION CONTROL ECU) (w/ Seat Memory)
(a) Disconnect the front power seat switch LH (position control ECU) connectors.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
13. CHECK METALTOP CONTROL ECU (SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the metaltop control ECU (sliding roof control ECU assembly) connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
14. CHECK RAIN SENSOR (w/ Auto Wiper)
(a) Disconnect the rain sensor connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
15. CHECK POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU
(a) Disconnect the power source control ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
16. CHECK WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the windshield wiper switch assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
17. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the combination meter assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
18. CHECK CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)
(a) Disconnect the clearance warning ECU assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
19. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
20. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER (w/ Tire Pressure Warning System)
(a) Disconnect the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
