2GR-FSE COOLING: RADIATOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the 2 radiator support cushions and 2 lower radiator supports to the radiator assembly.

(b) Install the fan assembly with motor to the radiator with the 2 guides at the bottom and 3 craws on the top.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the cooler condenser assembly and radiator assembly do not come into contact with each other.

2. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the cooler condenser assembly to the radiator assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

3. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Install the No. 1 radiator hose to the radiator assembly and secure it with the 2 clamps.

HINT
* Make sure that the claws on the clamp are positioned as shown in the illustration.
* Dimension "a" in the illustration (between the hose end and the clamp end) should be 1.0 to 5.0 mm (0.0393 to 0.196 in.).
* Connect the hose until it makes contact with the stopper. (Dimension "b" should be 2.5 mm (0.0984 in.))

4. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Install the No. 2 radiator hose to the radiator assembly and secure it with the 2 clamps.

HINT
* Make sure that the claws on the clamp are facing downward.
* Dimension "a" in the illustration (between the hose end and the clamp end) should be 1.0 to 5.0 mm (0.0393 to 0.196 in.).
* Connect the hose until it makes contact with the stopper. (Dimension "b" should be 2.5 mm (0.0984 in.))

5. INSTALL OUTLET ENGINE ROOM ECU DUCT

(a) Install the outlet engine room ECU duct to the engine room ECU box.

6. INSTALL RESERVE TANK CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the reserve tank cap sub-assembly to the reserve tank.

7. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT

(a) Install the 5 bolts and upper radiator support.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(b) Install the 6 wire harness clamps and No. 2 engine room wire.

(d) Connect the clamp and cooling fan motor connector.

(e) Connect the 4 wire harness clamps and 3 connectors.

8. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

(a) Install the hood lock control cable cover with the 3 screws and connect the clamp.

11. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Installation

12. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER Removal

13. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER

(a) Connect the radiator support opening cover with the 2 clips.

(b) Install the 2 clips.

14. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Installation

15. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR Installation

16. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

17. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

18. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

19. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Adjustments

20. ADD WASHER FLUID Installation

21. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR FOG LIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT Adjustments
