DESCRIPTION

When a transmitter switch is pushed, the following occurs: 1) the door control receiver receives the transmitter's signal; 2) the door control receiver sends a signal to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly); 3) the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) sends the operation permission signal to the power window regulator motor via the power window regulator master switch assembly; and 4) the power window motors are activated.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When the the power window regulator master switch assembly is removed, the power window control system must be initialized Initialization.
* The power window control system uses a BEAN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting How To Proceed With Troubleshooting. Troubleshoot the power window control system after confirming that the communication system is functioning properly.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION

(a) Check that the manual up and down function using the power window regulator master switch assembly and power window regulator switch assembly can operate all the power windows Operation Check.

OK:

Manual up and down function is normal.

NG -- GO TO OTHER PROBLEM (Proceed to Problem Symptoms Table) Problem Symptoms Table
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK REMOTE UP / DOWN FUNCTION

(a) Check that the remote up and down function using the power window regulator master switch assembly operates the power windows Operation Check.

OK:

Remote up and down function is normal.

NG -- GO TO OTHER PROBLEM (Proceed to Problem Symptoms Table) Problem Symptoms Table
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTIONS

(a) Check that the wireless transmitter can control all the doors to lock and unlock normally Operation Check.

OK:

Transmitter operates normally
