Removal
NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: NAVIGATION ECU: REMOVAL
1. EJECT MAP DISC
(a) Turn the engine switch on (ACC).
(b) Apply protective tape to the places shown in the illustration.

(c) Insert 2 precision screwdrivers (dia1.5 or less) into the holes on both sides of the clock assembly at the angle shown in the illustration.
NOTICE:
Do not pry on the clock assembly with the screwdrivers as they may damage the clock assembly.
HINT
If precision screwdrivers are not available, use in-vehicle tools (part No. 09135-53010).
(d) Insert a screwdriver with its tip taped with protective tape from the underside of the hazard switch and pull and remove the clock assembly.

NOTICE:
Do not pry on the hazard switch with the screwdriver as it may damage the switch.
(e) Remove the 2 precision screwdrivers.
(f) Push the "MENU" button.
(g) Touch "Map DVD" on the navigation screen.
(h) Touch "EJECT DVD" on the navigation screen to eject the map disc.
(i) Temporarily reinstall the clock assembly to make the removal of the multi-display assembly easier.
NOTICE:
Do not install the clock assembly completely because it will be removed later.
(j) Turn the engine switch off.
2. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH Removal
4. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH Removal
5. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY (w/o Ashtray) Removal
7. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Ashtray) Removal
8. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL Removal
10. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET Removal
12. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET Removal
13. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
(a) Slide the display and navigation module display assembly in the direction shown by the arrow to remove it.
14. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU
(a) Disconnect each connector.
(b) Disengage the clamp and remove the harness.
(c) Remove the 4 screws and navigation ECU.
