LIGHTING: HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the light control switch.





(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





* If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch.

(b) Check the headlight dimmer switch.





(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





* If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch.

HINT
Perform the "LOW BEAM" and "HI BEAM" inspection with the light control switch on "HEAD".

(c) Check the turn signal switch.





(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard resistance:





* If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch.

(d) Check fog light switch.





(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





* If the result is not as specified, replace the front fog light switch.

(e) Check rear fog light switch.





(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





* If the result is not as specified, replace the rear fog light switch.
