Removal





NAVIGATION: MULTI-DISPLAY (w/ Navigation System): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal

3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Removal

6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal

7. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL Removal

9. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET Removal

12. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY WITH BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 bolts.





(b) With both hands, pull the bottom part of the display and navigation module display with bracket outward slightly.





(c) With your right hand holding the rear side of the display and navigation module display with bracket and your left hand holding the left side of the display and navigation module display with bracket, pull it outward slightly.





(d) With your left hand holding the rear side of the display and navigation module display with bracket and your right hand holding the right side of the display and navigation module display with bracket, pull it outward slightly.





(e) Repeat the 2 steps above several times to detach the 6 clips and pull out the display and navigation module display with bracket.





(f) Disconnect the connectors and remove the display and navigation module display with bracket.

13. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 radio bracket.





14. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 radio bracket.
