Disassembly

LIGHTING: HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LED Headlight): DISASSEMBLY

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT COVER

(a) Turn the cover in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

2. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Turn the bulb as shown in the illustration to remove it.

3. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB

(a) Turn the cover in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

(b) Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

(c) Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 1 headlight bulb.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the glass part of the bulb.

4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Turn the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction indicated by the arrow and lightly pull it out.

(c) Pull out the leveling motor, and then detach the tip of the motor from the reflector to remove the motor.

5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING

(a) Remove the new packing.

6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 4 screws and ECU.

(b) Disconnect the connector.

7. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT COVER GASKET

(a) Remove the gasket.

8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT REFLECTOR LH

(a) Turn the aiming screw clockwise, and move the reflector so that it can be removed.

(b) Disconnect the connector.

(e) Remove the reflector as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Make sure not to damage the headlight control ECU socket's harness.

9. REMOVE LIGHT RETRACTOR CONTROL RELAY (w/ Driver Monitor Camera)

(a) Remove the 4 screws and cover.

(b) Remove the 2 screws.

(c) Disconnect the connector, and remove the light retractor control relay.

10. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT COVER GASKET (w/ Driver Monitor Camera)

(a) Remove the gasket.

11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws and bumper bar reinforcement.

12. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LENS GASKET

(a) Remove the headlight lens gasket.
