Removal
SUSPENSION CONTROL: CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side): REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Be sure to read the "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing Suspension Control System.
1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
4. REMOVE REAR WHEEL RH
5. REMOVE QUARTER PANEL WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH
(a) Remove the 4 screws and moulding.
6. REMOVE REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER RH
(a) Remove the 2 clips and 3 screws.
(b) Remove the 11 nuts and rear wheel house liner.
7. REMOVE NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Using SST, disconnect the 3 air tubes Suspension Control System.
SST : 09730-00010
(c) Disconnect the air tube from the clamp.
(d) Remove the 2 nuts and height control valve.
