WINDSHIELD / WINDOWGLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (for Front Door): REMOVAL

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE:
* After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH Disassembly

5. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Disassembly

6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

7. REMOVE DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH Disassembly

8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Disassembly

9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

11. REMOVE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Using a T25 "TORX" driver, remove the 3 screws and motor.





NOTICE:
Be careful when removing the screws as the motor may fall and become damaged.
