Removal





WINDSHIELD / WINDOWGLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (for Rear Door): REMOVAL

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE:
* After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH Removal

5. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

7. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM COVER LH Removal

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH Removal

9. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH Removal

10. REMOVE REAR CURTAIN SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Door Sunshade) Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 1 AUTO CURTAIN RAIL BRACKET LH (w/ Rear Door Sunshade) Removal

12. REMOVE REAR SIDE TRIM BOARD COVER LH (w/ Rear Door Sunshade) Removal

13. REMOVE REAR INNER DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH Removal

14. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

15. REMOVE REAR LOWER DOOR DIVISION BAR BRACKET LH Removal

16. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

17. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH Removal

18. REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS LH Removal

19. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

20. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

21. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Using a T25 ''TORX'' driver, remove the 3 screws and motor.





NOTICE:
Be careful when removing the screws as the motor may fall and become damaged.
