XB10 - Check VPWR Circuit Continuity Between PCM and VCRM

- Key "OFF".

- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.

- Disconnect Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Measure resistance between Pin 7 of the VCRM vehicle harness connector and test pins 37 and 57 at the breakout box.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to XB11. XB11 - Check For B+ and IGN Start/Run Voltage to VCRM

No -- Service open in VPWR circuit between PCM and VCRM. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
