XB103 - Check VCRM WAC Circuitry

- Key "OFF".

- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.

- Reconnect Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM).

- Key "ON".

- A/C "ON".

- Connect a jumper wire to test pin 54. While listening to the A/C clutch, connect and disconnect the other end of the jumper to test pin 40 a couple times.

- Key "OFF".

- A/C "OFF".

- Does the A/C clutch disengage and engage as the jumper wire is connected and disconnected?

Yes -- Replace PCM. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom.

No -- Replace VCRM. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom.
