DTC B1352: Ignition Key-In Circuit Failure

B1352-1 - Perform Lighting Control Module Self Test

- Make sure all doors are fully closed to second latch.
- During self test, make sure than no new warnings are displayed on instrument cluster. Rerun self test.

Is DTC B1352 still present?

YES GO to B1352-2.
NO System operating normally.

B1352-2 - Check Lighting Control Module Function

- Enter Diagnostic Data Link.
- Enter LCM - Lighting Control Module.
- Enter PID/DATA Monitor and Record.
- Make sure ignition key is in ignition switch.
- Select PID IGN_KEY - Ignition Key.

Does PID read IN?

YES REPLACE lighting control module. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
NO LEAVE ignition key in the ignition switch. GO to B1352-3.

B1352-3 - Check Circuit 158 (BK/PK) For Open

- Disconnect lighting control module connector C1.
- Using an ohmmeter connected to a known good ground, connect second lead to pin C1-3, circuit 158 (BK/PK).
- Measure resistance.

Is resistance 5 ohms or less?

YES REPLACE lighting control module. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
NO GO to B1352-4.

B1352-4 - Check Ignition Key Warning Switch Function

- Disconnect ignition key warning switch.
- Measure resistance of Circuit 158 (BK/PK) from lighting control module connector pin C1-3 to circuit 158 (BK/PK) at ignition key warning switch connector.

Is resistance 5 ohms or less?

YES REPLACE ignition key warning switch. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
NO SERVICE Circuit 158 (BK/PK) for open circuit. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
