DTC B1319: Drivers Door Ajar Short To Ground During Self Test

B1319-1 - Check DTCs

- Perform on-demand self test for lighting control module.

Is DTC B1322 or B1566 retrieved?

YES REFER to Courtesy Lamp testing. Testing and Inspection
NO GO to B1319-2.

B1319-2 - Ensure Driver's Door Is Closed.

- Verify all doors are fully closed to second latch.
- Rerun self test.

Is DTC B1319 still present?

YES GO to B1319-3.
NO System operating normally.

B1319-3 - Test Circuit

- Remove connector C2 from driver door module.
- Ensure that all doors are closed.
- Carefully probe pin C2-9 on driver door module for continuity with ground.

Is there continuity?

YES GO to B1319-4.
NO REPLACE driver door module. RETEST system.

B1319-4 - Test Lighting Control Module

- Disconnect lighting control module.
- Carefully probe pin C2-9 on lighting control module for continuity with ground.

Is there continuity?

YES SERVICE circuit 344 (BK/Y) for short to ground. RETEST system.
NO REPLACE lighting control module. RETEST system.
