B1322 - LF Door Ajar, Short To Ground

DTC B1322: Left Front Door Ajar, Short To Ground

B1322-1 - Check LH Front Door Closed

- Verify that the door is fully closed to second latch.
- Rerun on-demand self test.

Is DTC B1322 still present?

YES GO to B1322-2.
NO System operating normally.

B1322-2 - Check Circuit 867 (DB)

- Disconnect Lighting Control Module Connector C2.
- Ensure that door is closed.
- Using an ohmmeter, connect to ground, measure resistance at lighting control module connector Pin C3-8.

Is resistance less than 10K ohms?

YES GO to B1322-3.
NO REPLACE lighting control module. RETEST system.

B1322-3 - Check Driver Door Ajar Switch

- Disconnect LH front driver door ajar warning switch.
- Using an ohmmeter connected to ground, measure resistance at lighting control module Pin C2-11, Circuit 867 (DB).

Is resistance 5 ohms or less?

YES SERVICE Circuit 867 (DB) for short to ground. RETEST system.
NO SERVICE door ajar switch for stuck switch. RETEST system.
