Normal Operation
The instrument cluster receives the speed control status from the powertrain control module (PCM) over the standard corporate protocol (SCP) communication network circuits 4-EG8 (GY/VT) and 5-EG8 (BU/WH). When the speed control is engaged, the PCM provides the instrument cluster with the speed control engaged status message and the instrument cluster illuminates the speed control indicator.
