PINPOINT TEST AV: THE SAFETY BELT WARNING CHIME DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY

Normal Operation
The instrument cluster receives the safety belt warning chime input from the restraint control module (RCM) through circuit 8-GE52 (WH/BK). When the key is in the RUN position, the instrument cluster sounds the safety belt warning chime when it detects a ground at circuit 8-GE52 (WH/BK).

Possible Causes
- circuit 8-GE52 (WH/BK) open or shorted to ground
- instrument cluster
- safety belt switch
- restraint control module (RCM)
