Normal Operation
The climate controlled seat module (CCSM) provides voltage on circuit 8-FA18 (WH/BK) and ground on circuit 31S-FA18 (BK/RD) to operate the climate controlled seat blower fan. The CCSM also supplies voltage on circuit 20S-FA18 (PK/OG) that is used by the climate controlled seat blower fan to provide a feedback voltage to the CCSM indicating climate controlled seat blower fan speed.
Possible Causes
A blower electronics short to ground or tach circuit failure can be caused by:
- a fuse.
- wiring, terminals or connectors.
- CCSM.
- climate controlled seat blower fan.
