Pinpoint Test Q: DTC C1969 - Traction Control/Yaw Rate Control Switch CircuitNormal Operation
The traction control switch is a momentary switch and when pressed, disables or enables the traction control or Advance Trac/IVD.
Power is supplied by circuit 20-CF54 (PK/WH). Circuit 8-CF54 (WH/VT) provides the switch input signal to the ABS module. Current to the disable LED lamp from the ABS module is supplied by circuit 31S-CF45 (BK/GN).
Possible Causes
^ Traction Control/Advance Trac/IVD switch
^ Power circuit 20-CF54 (PK/WH)
^ Switch signal circuit 8-CF54 (WH/VT) short to voltage
^ LED lamp circuit 31S-CF45 (BK/GN) short to ground or short to voltage
^ ABS module
