Test S: DTC C2777 and DTC C2778 - Sensor Cluster Bus Failure

Pinpoint Test S: DTC C2777 and DTC C2778 - Sensor Cluster Bus Failure

Normal Operation
The yaw rate sensor and accelerometer are part of the sensor cluster which sends various signals about the vehicle's dynamics through a 2-wire bus controller area network (CAN) 4-CF66 (GY/VT) and CAN 5-CF66 (BU/WH). The CAN bus receives a twelve-volt input through circuit 7-CF67 (YE/RD) in series with the steering wheel rotation sensor circuitry. Ground is provided through circuit 9-CF67 (BN/RD).

Possible Causes
^ Power circuit 7-CF67 (YE/RD) open, short to ground, or short to power
^ Ground circuit 9-CF67 (BN/RD) open, short to ground, or short to power
^ Steering wheel rotation sensor
^ Circuit 4-CF66 (GY/VT)
^ Circuit 5-CF66 (BU/WH)
^ Sensor cluster
^ Anti-lock brake system (ABS) module
