Normal Operation
With the engine running, the charging system warning indicator should be off. The sense A circuit 30-BA25 (RD) to the generator field coil carries 13-15 volts. The I (ignition) circuit 10-BA25 (GY/RD) is used to turn on the voltage regulator. This circuit carries 0 volts (C102a connected) with the key in the ON position and the engine not running (1-8 volts with the engine running). The positive battery output (B+) circuit 30-BA6 (RD) is the generator output supplied to the battery and the electrical system.
