Test D: The Interior Lamps Do Not Turn On With One Door Open
PINPOINT TEST D: THE INTERIOR LAMPS DO NOT TURN ON WITH ONE DOOR OPEND1:
D1-D4:
Normal Operation
The driver door module (DDM) monitors the LH front door ajar switch on circuit 867 (DB), and the remaining door ajar switches on circuit 627 (BK/OG). The door ajar switches provide a path for ground supplied through the ajar switches by circuit 57 (BK), indicating an open door. The DDM then signals the lighting control module (LCM) to supply power to the interior lamps.
Possible Causes
- Circuit 627 (BK/OG) open
- Circuit 867 (DB) open
- Circuit 57 (BK) open
- Door ajar switch(es)
- DDM
