Normal Operation
The lighting control module (LCM) monitors the driver door disarm switch status. The driver door disarm switch is located in the driver door lock cylinder and grounds circuit 24 (DB/OG) or circuit 25 (DG/VT) on circuit 57 (BK) which arms or disarms the system. The ajar switches are monitored by the LCM. The driver door module (DDM) communicates with the LCM through the standard corporate protocol (SCP) network to supply voltage to the driver door disarm switch and arm the perimeter alarm.
Possible Causes
- circuit 24 (DB/OG) open or short to ground
- circuit 25 (DG/VT) (driver door lock cylinder switch) open or short to ground
- circuit 25 (GN) (LCM) open or short to ground
- circuit 57 (BK) open
- driver door lock cylinder switch
