Perimeter Lighting Feature Programming
Programming the Perimeter Lighting Feature Using the Door Lock Control Switch
NOTE: The following steps must be carried out within 30 seconds or the procedure will need to be repeated. If the procedure needs to be repeated, wait 30 seconds between programming sessions.
1. NOTE: Prior to beginning, make sure the ignition is in the OFF mode and all vehicle doors are closed.
Switch the ignition from the OFF to the RUN mode.
2. Press the unlock button on the door lock control switch 3 times.
3. Switch the ignition from the RUN to the OFF mode.
4. Press the unlock button on the door lock control switch 3 times.
5. Switch the ignition back to the RUN mode. The horn chirps once to indicate that programming mode is entered.
6. NOTE: The unlock button must be pressed twice within 5 seconds.
Within 30 seconds of entering the programming mode, press the unlock button on the door lock control switch twice to enable/disable the perimeter lighting feature. The horn chirps once if the perimeter lighting is disabled or a chirp followed by a honk if the perimeter lighting is enabled.
7. Switch the ignition to the OFF mode. The horn chirps once to signal that the programming is complete.
