Luggage Compartment Lid Motor









Removal and Installation

1. Remove the pin-type retainers and position the luggage compartment trim aside.

2. Support the luggage compartment lid with a suitable support rod.

3. Disconnect the luggage compartment lid motor assembly wiring harness electrical connector.

4. Remove the luggage compartment lid motor assembly arm bolt from the luggage compartment lid hinge.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

5. Loosen the luggage compartment lid motor assembly bolt.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

6. Loosen the luggage compartment lid motor assembly lower bolt.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

7. Remove the 2 bolts and the luggage compartment lid motor assembly.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

8. If required, remove 3 bolts and the luggage compartment lid drive motor.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
