Pinpoint Test G: The Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) Is Completely Inoperative (Vehicles Without Navigation)
Normal Operation
The Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) receives power and ground at all times. The ignition switch position message is sent to the FDIM by the Smart Junction Box (SJB) via the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN).
Button press information is also sent from the FDIM to the Audio Control Module (ACM) via the MS-CAN. If the FDIM screen operates correctly but the FDIM buttons are inoperative, GO to Pinpoint Test I.
