Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.

2. Remove the transmission. For additional information, refer to Automatic Transaxle/Transmission - 4R70E/4R75E Removal.

3. Remove the 6 bolts and the flexplate.

Installation

1. Position the flexplate and loosely install the 6 bolts. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
- Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
