Pinpoint Test 2: The Instrument Cluster Illumination Is Inoperative




PINPOINT TEST 2: THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER ILLUMINATION IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation

Variable voltage is supplied to the instrument cluster from the instrument panel dimmer switch on circuit (L/W). The instrument cluster is grounded through circuit (B/Y).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Instrument cluster

CAUTION:Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
