TP sensor description
- A liner type throttle sensor is used.
- The TP sensor resistance between terminal B and C increases while depressing the accelerator pedal.
- The TP sensor resistance between terminal A and B decreases while depressing the accelerator pedal.
- The TP sensor signal is used for the following controls and monitors
- Idle air control
- Fuel injector control
- Fuel pressure regulator control
- Electric spark control
- EGR control
- Purge control
- A/C cut-off control
- Electric cooling fan control
- Evaporative system monitor
- EGR system monitor
